Well, from time to time any vehicle needs some maintenance. I was due in 2019. The decision to fix the Haglund syndrom on my heel was already taken. A spring bike ride ended up at the accident & emergency unit of the local hospital. Diagnostic statement: threefold broken shoulder and 6 weeks of immobility. Consequently, the heel surgery had to be postponed towards end of October.
The time in between I used for some hikes in Nordnorge and the Swiss Alps.
After the surgery, the crutches became my shoulder’s best friends. Thanks to them I reached again full mobility of my intermediate frozen shoulder. At the year end I was fully recovered.
